Come explore photography as an artform with award-winning fine art and landscape photographer, Chip Freund. We will discuss questions like, when does a photograph become a work of art? and how do we define “fine art photography”, differentiating from other forms of photography? With this foundation and vocabulary in hand, Chip will demonstrate several of the strategies and techniques he uses to make images which fulfill his artistic vision. Following the session, participants will have the opportunity to create their own fine art photographs, share them in a private online photo group and join a workshop reunion video call a month later to share their work in a group critique session hosted by Chip.
