Jordan Lake is a reservoir managed by the Army Corp of Engineers.  The lake level varies with precipitation and water release rate. On this winter's day, the lake was well above its normal level, flooding this stand of pine trees. I set my tripod up in the water and framed up this shot.  I was struck by the contrast and patterns created by the silhouetted trees set against the bright sky.
