Greetings friends. Today's rain inspired me to dive back into my catalog of images that didn't quite make the cut when I first reviewed them. This one from a flooded forest at Jordan Lake, NC has started to come alive for me as I have covered it to black and white and pushed the contrast to the point of almost pure black and white and splitting it into a triptych. The next step would be to create a set of canvas prints. I welcome your thoughts. #fineartphotography #floodedforest #jordanlake

I came across an older image in my catalog that never made it to the portfolio because the composition just didn't do for me. While looking at it I have an idea. What if you mirrored the image and flipped it to make four copies and them assemble them such that it creates both a horizontal and vertical mirror planes. Well here it is, with the original image for reference. The composite image definitely makes a more compelling image, but is it portfolio worthy? Thoughts?
